Father, I pray for all who suffer in the cold,
For those who know you, and for those who do not,
For those whose eyes are open, and those who have closed theirs and walked away,
I pray for those who are called by your name, and those who will never know it,
I pray for all your creation, for those who stand upright, as well as those who move on four feet, those who leap in the trees and tiny winged creatures who shiver in the cold,
I pray for those who long for wealth, power, and fame, as well as those who seek to walk in your shoes,
I pray for those who shout in the streets, as well as those who enter a closet to pray,
I pray for those who have sold their souls for thirty pieces of silver,
And for those who are not their own but have been bought with a price,
Shower blessings on us all.
Beautiful, as usual. Your writing makes me glad.
